This client was previously associated with ******* ***********. Following NSM's acquisition of ******* ***********, not all client
information was successfully transitioned. Our team conducted an evaluation at
******'s in November 2024 to address a reported issue with the chair's frame,
during which we identified that the frame was indeed broken. Parts were ordered
on the same day, and we subsequently submitted the necessary documentation to
the client's insurance company while awaiting their approval. Upon receiving
approval, we forwarded a quote to the manufacturer on December 5th.
Regrettably, the parts have not yet been received.

Wheelchair purchased and received in Jan. 2022. We have had 6 issues with parts falling off the chair causing an 8 year old boy distress. This chair is his ONLY way to get around so when it's un-usable he is both scared & distressed. Each time I called NS&M (the company) requesting repairs, there were problems, and excuses, which got worse with each problem. The 1st time a repair man (Chris) did come to our house & temporarily repaired the chair saying he'd have to "order parts" & would get back to us. He never did until the other side of the chair broke in same area and I called. He then brought the "parts" and said he had to order more parts. Since then there have been 2 more problems with the chair. Now we're being told by text/phone that there's nothing that can be done until they "order parts" with no date when that will be. The entire brake assembly on left side fell off this past weekend & no one will come to look at the chair, nor has any alternative been offered (such as a loaner chair?) The child, Andre, can't ride school bus w/o brakes, and more importantly he is in danger with a single brake. How can a company who serves the handicapped population be so un-available? Also, it seems to takes them weeks or months to obtain parts. Is there no factory or retailer between Buffalo & Syracuse who produces wheelchair parts? I think I was sold a "Lemon" as well because my grandson had a previous wheelchair from a different company that lasted almost 5 years with perhaps 1 or 2 repairs. When I called them, repairs were offered immediately. NS& M employees Mark, Chris, and recently Zack blow me off continually, not returning calls & refusing to look at ******* chair. This morning I have been calling for 2 hours and no answer- they have message that says they will call you back before 4PM if you leave message. On 10/24 I left two messages and no call back by 4PM

Rec'd a call from the business stating that the parts came in today and Syracuse location will be reaching out to the consumer to schedule date of repair.
