    I have also been burned by Scheurer Monuments. I ordered a gravestone for my late wife in January 2020 and paid a $900 deposit. As of this date (over 3 years later) the gravestone has not been completed or delivered. I have visited the shop several times and spoke with the owner ***************************, and received excuse after excuse from him. I have been more than patient with him, but I have finally decided to begin the formal complaint process against his business. News 12 just did an investigation story about this business, see ***************************************************************************************************************************

    If I could leave less then 1 star I would. Ive been waiting for my 24 yr old sons headstone for almost a year. They told us **** weeks!! The company is unreachable. Either they dont answer their phone or the place is closed. When by chance we do reach him were told its delayed FOR A YEAR. Visiting my son and no headstone is so heartbreaking. What company can do this to grieving families ?? They are a horrible business and the worst people.

    Unfortunately I have had the same experience as others. Took my money, has done no work, cannot leave a voice message. When met in person the owner said he would get back to me, but never does. Very sad not only because of lost money, but more importantly emotional pain of not getting name on gravestone.
