    I explored **'s for my move from ** to **, based on local **** on Next Door site. Comparing three quotes, they were the most reasonable cost, and included a good set of moving boxes to get me started on packing. The crew in ** (4) were on time, plus very efficient, courteous & neat. The driver updated me with estimate for unloading timing start, and was exactly on time, with another efficient, courteous and neat crew (3 total). Moving can be very stressful, but I was very happy with every aspect of my move with Al's. Lots of negative BBB reviews from 2021-2022, but looks like they have turned things around, based on my experience.

    I am just about to embark on my third "Follow Up" visit with **'s Moving Company as they offer a service I find very helpful. For a fair, additional fee, a team of two or three people (depends on ones needs) will return to my new "Home Sweet Home" and help me try to get organized yet again. A daunting process but coming along. I need more boxes unpacked and wrapping paper/bubble wrap garbage disposed of. I also have some items I wish to toss in addition to my own stuff the previous owner left behind ie: a couple of standing mirrors and other garb. Lastly, a small wooden shed 4' high standing on its last legs. ************ know what they are doing, strong and do jobs such as this, in mere minutes. Last visit, they removed a two seat bleacher in my garden. Not only was it super long and wide but the wood was think which probably meant it was heavy. No probs for *********** followed with zero complaints:) January 28, Monday is my next appt. with AL's but not sure the last? The boxes are endless, you may have forgotten but moving comes with plenty of baggage. No lunch yet again but coffee, tee and sweets! Keep you posted.

    We were very happy with our move from Northern Westchester to ************ this past week.**'s was recommended by our neighbor and she was dead on right about this company!From ****** who gave us our estimate to ****** whom I hounded constantly about our move date to ****** who coordinated our move and the crew, headed by **** and 3 helpers. They were on time, had enough storage space in their truck. They were courteous throughout the day. Moving, as most people know, can be an extremely stressful experience. This company and crew took all of that out of our minds! They were efficient throughout the day and handled our furniture with the utmost care! They must spend quite a bit on tape, wrap, etc.I will certainly be happy to recommend this moving company to anyone who asks us.

    Absolutely terrible - after our experience, I wouldnt hire them if their services were free. In fact, I wouldve rather paid double to a better company with better service. Dont make the same mistake as us - the amount of negative reviews this company has online speaks volumes. Our move was handled with such inept, its mind boggling these people do this for a living. We confirmed with them a month before our move in writing/text the details of our move - including our address with apartment number and the fact it was stairs, no elevator. You would think as a moving company that does this for a living that they wouldve taken that information and did what they had to do with it at that time, rather than wait until the literal day of our move - first they tell us on the day of the move that because of the stairs now they have to pick up a helper on the way to help that would add to our cost. Then we get another call asking if an 18-******* will fit into our apartment complex - when the answer was no, we were told they were going to have to rent a van (at our expense) and shuttle our items in. When they received our apartment information the month prior, they shouldve asked us this then, not the day of. They were extremely late (hours) and didnt show up until almost 8:30 at night with zero communication, apology, or even any care. We didnt get any type of communication until I called their main number. Worst of all, a majority of our boxes showed up extremely bent, re-taped, ripped and damaged, even the ones marked with bright red fragile stickers - that clearly meant nothing to them. After opening our boxes it was clear these boxes were extremely mishandled, flipped upside down. Many items of ours were broken, especially several pricey ones. Our 70 tv was damaged as well which couldnt be known until we powered it on. Overall such a terrible experience, save yourself the trouble and go with a more reputable company who will care about their clients.

    By no means should this company have the privilege of a best of Westchester title. They were lazy, clumsy, rude, smoking & drinking guys who broke and scratched a lot of our items. The company should not advertise long distance moves to ******* if they d/n have a proper crew. Our items arrived 5 days after a confirmed date. The delay cost us a $1,000 on hotel expenses. I had a confirmed date and they just ignored the fact that they missed the date. The ******* staff was rude. Back talking and down talking to my family. They rushed moving the stuff in our home because they kept saying it was a Friday and they wanted to hit the bar. Items were asked to be put in our home and they left them in the garage and barked at me that they wouldnt move them where I asked them to leave them. Many of our items from the kitchen were broken. Not just broken, shattered!!! These items were triple bubble wrapped, the only way they could have broken like that was if the boxes were thrown and crashed on the ground. Our beautiful furniture had scratches and marks on it, which they never had before the delivery. My antique Christmas ornaments also were shattered. These were triple bubble wrapped and places in between foam and were still shattered.The movers forgot to install a leg to one of the beds. They then proceeded to lie to the owner and said our rug was in the way. Meanwhile, we have no rugs!!!They forgot to attach a mirror to the dresser. The guys were asked not to smoke and they were blowing smoke from the truck right into our garage. When I asked them not to smoke they screamed at me meanwhile I am the customer.. screamed at me that they werent in our home so they could smoke where they wanted to. One of the delivery men stunk of alcohol. He put the boxes in the wrong spots and at one point was so unstable he tried to walk through our clear closet door. When asked why he put items in the wrong area he blamed my husband. I asked for some of the money back!!
