    Ismile has been extremely negligent on a few grounds. First, on 3/23/2024, they adjusted braces on my eight year old grandson (*************************************** dob10/08/15). They fell apart almost immediately. Actually on his way home in the car, a metal molar fastener dislodged and nearly choked him. A few days later (3/25) the brace wires on both sides broke, cutting into his inner cheeks. We had to completely cut the wires to prevent further injury. During the 3/23/2024 appointment, the orthodontist recommended the extraction of SIX primary/baby teeth. We sought a second opinion from the Orthodontist treating *********'s older brother. He determined that the braces were installed prematurely and immediately removed them. He also determined that there was NO NEED to extract six baby teeth since he is too young and the baby teeth need time to come out naturally. We contacted ISmile on 4/9, 4/10 and 4/11 to inform that we were trminating treatment immediately. We requested a refund of the advanced payments we made to ISmile for six months of treatment that we paid in advance fo April, May, June, July, August and September 2024. The total of our advance payments @$183.62/month is $1,101.72. We have never gotten a call back from the manager (*****) who is apparently the only individual who can help resolve this an issue a refund. We also received no response to our email sent on4/9/2024.
