    I had my garage floor coated with an epoxy coating in 2019. Proposal states that it has a 10 year adhesion warranty. in the last few years the floor has begun to crack, blister and bubble up.
    I notified "Tom" of this problem on July 11, 2023 by phone and EMAIL. After two and a half weeks "tom" finally called but only after I sent a registered letter.
    On August 3rd he called to say he would send someone to look at the problem, they came took pictures and left. I called Tom and he told me they would come, grind out the bad spots, recoat the floor and only charge me $1250! I told him I would not pay this for a warrantied floor and asked that he patch the floor. He started yelling and telling me that customers like me put the little companies out of business.
    Iam very unhappy with his response and in particular his attitude.
    I would never recommend this company to anyone for anything.

    Response taken by phone:  He had the floor done 5 years ago for around $2300 with a 10 year warranty.  When he called we couldn't get to him right away.  He did not call back and then we received a registered letter.  I had my men check out the floor and they explained it was moisture coming up from under the floor, which we have no control over.  I explained to him that I could repair the spots under the warranty but it would not match due to the age of the coating. I then offered to redo the entire at half of the price he paid 5 years ago.  Coatings are evolving all the time and are now much more durable.  He did not like these options and threatened to bad mouth me on social media and take me to court.  I was wiling to stand behind the warranty but this is not what he wanted.

    He failed to mention that he wanted to charge me $1250 and I did NOT suggest taking him to court, that was his idea.

    This is just a case of he said, he said. 
    “Tom” is not interested in living up to the warranty so I guess he will have to live with the bad publicity. Thanks BBB for trying.
