      I am making payments every month on a tractor from Hammer and Wrench in Williamstown NY. I’ve been having issues with this since I got it. Every time I send it to the shop, I get it back STILL NOT working right. The recent paperwork states right on there I’m having issues with hydraulics, but then the owner told me that was never a complaint. I’ve been making my payments on time every month since I’ve gotten this, never missed a payment but can’t seem to get help with a tractor that from my understanding when I got it everything was under warranty for 4 years or 500 hours

      Customer purchased
      equipment used from us in 2021 and was told that he would receive the remainder
      of the factory warranty. The Bumper to Bumper Warranty on this machine expired
      in October of 2023. The Power Train warranty expires in October of
      2025. According to ****** America Corp who is the distributor for the Solis
      Brand Tractors states that the Hydraulics are not part of the Power Train
      Warranty. Hydraulics are the complaint of this customer, however the customer
      is unwilling to pay for such work to be done. He believes that ***** or ****** should be responsible for such labor and parts to be paid for however that is not
      the case outside of the bumper to bumper warranty. As shown in the invoice of
      the work done in February of 2025 we did check the hydraulics and they seemed to
      be operating properly to the machine specs. We believe that the customer is
      trying to do more than the machine purchased is capable of doing and that is
      why he is having the issues that he is having. If you look at the invoice we
      did not even charge this customer any labor as we were trying to help them.
      They did however pay for the key switch and the key since they did break the key
      switch. Customer has also called the manufacturer requesting that they send him
      tire chains at no cost for his tractor. Tire chains are not free with any brand
      tractor, however he was upset with us that they would not send him the free
      tire chains. The customer contacted us in threatening to get a lawyer personally
      instead of through our business ******** page so we decided to block this
      customer personally to avoid any further arguments. If said customer wanted to
      contact us we believe it should be during our business hours and our business
      pages. This is not the first time we have assisted this customer in the past free
      of charge except for parts that are needed for the machine that were not
      covered by the warranty. However, ****** or ***** do not cover pickup and
      delivery any machine so we have charged for that. We have tried to resolve any
      and all issues with this customer, however we have been advised from our legal
      counsel to halt any interactions at this point. If the Better Business Bureau
      has any questions we would love to answer any and all of your questions to help
      resolve this complaint. Thank you.
