    Niacom damaged my property on November 2nd 2023 while performing work installing a cable line for internet in the area (not at my request but part of their contract). They mistakenly ran over a small tree on my property with a front loader piece of equipment which damaged it and then they removed the tree without my consent. When confronted they admitted to the mistake and gave me the contact information for Niacom and indicated they "are a great company and will resolve and replace the tree right away". IT has now been 9 months and after dozens of communications with their team via email, phone, and chat they are not taking any action. I need the tree replaced immediately and action taken by Niacom. Their communication back to me has been awful and unprofessional.

    After investigating from what we can tell that tree was taken down by the city.  It was located on city property, that section or "right of way" also isn't in the area of our construction. We made Mr. ******* aware of our finding on numerous occasions.

    Better Business Bureau:

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ******** and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.  Niacom was onsite on my lawn and knocked over the tree and removed it.  They admitted it to me directly and gave me Niacom's contact info to get resolved.  The onsite person said that "we had a new person using the front loader that was digging up your front lawn to install the lines and he mistakenly backed up into your tree and knocked it over and we had to remove it.  Contact my office at Niacom and they are a great company and will resolve immediately".  Niacom delayed getting back to me for months and then tried to say the city did it which isn't accurate.
