    On June 26, 2024 I purchased a 2024 ******** *** from Cappellino Cadillac with the assurance that they could install a trailer hitch on the vehicle. I was given information about installation and pricing before I paid for the vehicle. After I paid for the vehicle, I asked for a definite price and appointment for installation. At that time I was told the hitch would be almost twice the price quoted and that they would supply the hitch, but I would have to take it elsewhere to have it installed. I began to shop for a reputable shop to install the hitch. I settled on ********* on ******** road in ******* *****. Cappellino uses them for installations from their other locations. When I went to use the hitch, the lights did not work. I had my trailer wiring checked and they were working properly. The problem was there was no power from the car to the hitch. I questioned Capellino as to why it wasn't working. They did not know but would check it out when I brought the car in for service, at that time I was told that the vehicle could not have the hitch installed due to the way the vehicle was manufactured. This did not seem normal.
    After agreeing that the hitch could not be installed, we agreed that I would pay $1000 for usage up to that date and an additional $300 for a replacement vehicle with a factory installed hitch. It has been a stressful and troublesome 4 months of negotiating and being without the use of my boat and trailer all summer.
    I believe Capellino only wanted to sell the vehicle without regard to their promise of a working trailer hitch. The main reason I purchased the vehicle was their assurance there would be no problem installing the hitch.
    To this date, they have not been able to provide a replacement vehicle and are doing everything possible to delay a settlement and hope that I will "go away". They are slow (2 to 7) days before answering phone calls or texts. I finally gave them a deadline for resolution before I take legal action
