    I bough two gift crds for 100 each last December. They gave put two $20 bonus gift cards with purchase. My daughter's birthday is in December. Due to the weather last year we never used the gift cards. On Dec 28 2023 we both went for massages. The girl at the desk threw out the 2 $20 gift cards because she said they were expired. I I called the business yesterday and spoke to Mikala and told her I thought gift cards can't expire. She said they are promotional and can. Since they are giving out new 20 cards this year I asked if I could have used my 200 gift cards to buy 2 more to get the new promotion of 2 new gift cards. She said no.

    ***** purchased 2 gift cards valued at $100 each on 12/2/22. Our gift card promotion was to purchase a gift card valued at $100 and receive a $20 promotional card. She did receive 2 $20 promotional cards that state they are valid until June 2023. The gift cards that she purchased do not expire. The free promotional cards do. ***** stated that she did not get to use them due to the weather. They were available to use them after the winter season up until the end of June. Also it was stated that she inquired about purchasing new gift cards to get new promotional cards. Unfortunately our gift cards cannot be used to purchase new gift . 
    The disputed amount states $200. ***** was able to redeem the gift cards she had purchased for $200. She did redeem the total $100 on one of the gift cards and redeemed $78 of the second card. Leaving a balance of $22, that can be redeemed at any time towards services or retail products as stated on the back of the gift cards.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and although the resolution is unsatisfactory to me, it sounds like promotional gift cards can have expiration dates and there is nothing I can do about it,
