      Nightmare experience.  This contractor was hired almost a year ago and insisted on being paid up front in cash for a renovation of two existing bathrooms.  His crew demolished the existing bathrooms last August and then left them effectively in that same demolished state for months.  Ten months later, the bathrooms still are not finished, during which time we have been unable to fully use the house, costing us thousands out of pocket.  In those ten months, the majority of time has been spent with no work occurring on the house and radio silence from Scott – completely ignoring texts, emails and phone calls for weeks on end.  Multiple promised completion dates have flown by with no response.  When workmen do occasionally show up, they have left doors windows and doors wide open to the elements (again, for weeks at a time), broken our clawfoot tub, left trash and foodstuffs lying on the floor and in the yard, and even left excrement in the home’s only working toilet.  Overall, we (and our home) have been treated with immense disrespect and disregard and the project is still not completed with zero communication as to how or when it will ever be finished.
