      We have been going to bijou restaurant close to 2 years me family and friends and remained loyal customers unfortunately, we will no longer be doing business at this restaurant. Any longer. The way we were treated by the general manager there he was disrespectful, rude and unprofessional.new years eve 12/31/21 we had a reservation for 6 pm we called the restaurant a female picked up didnt get her name we had advised her that most of our guests are running a bit late we had a party of 6 the woman asked if anyone is able to get there by 6pm so that they can hold the table ?we said yes, I had showed to the restaurant a little before 6pm I gave them the name on the reservations the general manager asked is everyone here I said no they are running late a lot of us were traveling from far distances in bad weather and dealing with Uber cancellations he advised us that he cant sit me unless the whole party is there which at that point there was plenty of seating available my sister and husband showed up at 6 10pm the rest of the party showed up 645 pm we advised the general manager we were ready to be seated we waited patiently almost an hour went by I saw several parties walking in and getting seated right away this definitely seem to be intentional by the general manager by his actions so I politely asked the general manager when will our table be ready? He rudely responded well you guys were an hour late so youre gonna have to wait I asked him please dont talk to me like that Ive been patient enough meanwhile I showed on time he said it twice that we were an hour late I told him please dont go there with me. The general manager responded OK we will see about that 20 minutes later we finally sat down The general manager is very disrespectful and unprofessional. I have dealt with him in the past and he has always been rude and unprofessional . my family and friends will never go back to that restaurant again Bijou restaurant has refused to respond to complaint
