    I applied and was approved for an apartment at ******** with the REFUNDABLE security deposit in November for a Jan 8th move in date. I paid $2,479 to them as a hold of the apartment which again was refundable in writing. About two weeks later I found a way cheaper option so I reached out to the Brio requesting my refundable deposit back. They said they would begin to issue. They then said they sent out an email with a link to put my direct deposit info in. I never received the email so they said it would be a paper check to the address I originally used on the application which was the past apartment I lived at. The week of Christmas, they told me they would have to go through a process to change the address. So I sent my new address and the lady said accounting was giving her a hard time because I should have received the email. I checked spam everyday for a week and every inbox possible, even ones they would not have. I did not get the email. So I requested for the change the last week of December once again. On Jan 3rd was the last time I heard from them and the lady I was most recently speaking with, ********, said "I am working with accounting to see what we can do to expedite this. I have insisted that you have checked all emails and have not received it. I also mentioned that you do not have access to the previous address.Let me see what I am able to do with ***************,******** ****" Since then I have emailed her on the 9th, and the 13th and have not heard anything. I have tried to call and no answer or call back. It is now going on 2 months without receiving my money back and no response from them on the status or an update.
