    Dear BBB,On 2/28/23 I paid Best Temp Central to install a replacement central air conditioner. I was given 3 choices on price, and I went with the most expensive because it had humidity control. What I got in return for my $16,000 is a bunch of buckets to catch the dripping water from each vent, and dehumidifiers all over my **** square foot home. When I complained to Best Temp in July, they made me wait 3 weeks for a service appointment. After that, they failed to show up for the next 2 appointments. They finally did show up, and 2 young kids stuffed some huge pieces of attic insulation into my vents, and left after 30 minutes without saying a word. When I told Best Temp I still had problems, they said it was not their fault, and that I needed attic insulation. I actually made an appointment with the insulation company they recommended(Delphino). During the appointment, ******** was honest enough to tell me insulation would not correct my condensation issues. And so, I turn back to Best temp again. I beg them in writing, and they ignore me. I have turned to ***************** for help, but they ignore me too.Since then I have had at least 4 other HVAC professionals, and each has a different theory on how this job was botched. I had one company put it in writing, and sent it over to Best Temp. They still choose to ignore me.

    At this time, I have been contacted directly by Best-Temp Central A/C & Heating Corp. regarding complaint ID ********, however my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

     

    I got a call from *** on 9/21/23, the owner. He said he was the new owner of the company, and not responsible for the transaction. (This is the same guy I spoke to months ago, when he blamed the problem on my insulation.) I still managed to talk him into resolving, so I thought. We ended with him saying he would have his secretary ****** call me to set up an appointment, but she never called. I followed up with an email to ***, but that was not answered.
