An "estimator" for this company came to my house on his own volition to solicit business. I told him I was in the middle of a (virtual) meeting and to come back in the afternoon. He rang my doorbell again a few minutes later and I saw that he had lowered ceiling boards on my porch. He said he was doing an inspection and that there was water above the boards. I never authorized him to touch anything. He and his helper left after I asked them to put the boards back in place. They did not do that nor did they clean up the mess they left on the porch. I then called the number on the card which they had left. The person there was not helpful and I urgently expressed the need for him to get his people back to my house and fix the damage. He refused, asked me if I could go to my bank right away and take out $25,000. When I said that was nonsense, he told me to **** *** **** and he hung up. I called him back and told him his comment was uncalled for. He seemed to calm down and said he would have someone back at my house in about an hour to check what needed to be done. When no one had arrived by 4 hours later, I called him again. He said he would have someone here this morning to repair the damage. When no one was here by 10:30 AM, I called the same number and spoke with the same person. He said that he would not have anyone here to fix the porch ceiling because he did not think that could be done without extensive work. I said I just wanted his crew to put the ceiling back where it was (It is currently hanging down.) and clean up the debris. He refused. When I said I would contact the BBB, he started making threats to me.Thank you. *************************

    Better Business Bureau:

At this time, I have not been contacted by New City Paving regarding complaint ID ********. New City Paving has not contacted me nor taken any action to repair the damage its "estimator" did to my house.  What has BBB done to try to contact that business?  Please advise.

    Sincerely,
