    In August 2024, I placed and paid in full ($1,633.12) for a custom ***** table from NYCity Slab. I coordinated the purchase directly with the owner, ****** ******. After confirming the design and payment, I was told the table would be completed and shipped promptly.From September 2024 through March 2025, I made more than a dozen written requests for updates, photos of the completed product, or shipping confirmation. Over this period, *** ****** repeatedly claimed that the table was nearly ready or that shipping would occur "this week," but no photo, shipment, or tracking information was ever *********** various times, *** ****** gave inconsistent or unprofessional excuses, including:Waiting on shippers or weather delays, Needing to oil the piece or bring it from another location. Promises to send tracking information tomorrow, which were never fulfilled.Despite my continued patience and professional tone, these delays persisted for over six months. On March 10 and again on March 18, 2025, I formally requested a full refund due to non-delivery and lack of communication. I emphasized my desire to resolve this directly without escalating to third parties. His response on March 20 simply said the table was enroute and he would send information today yet again, no proof or shipping details were ever *********** date, I have not received the product I paid for, nor any credible evidence that it was ever completed or shipped. I believe NYCity Slab (and *** ****** personally) have failed to deliver the paid item, misrepresented the status of the order, and engaged in deceptive or negligent business practices.Requested Resolution:A full refund of the amount paid via Venmo A formal complaint on file with the BBB for record and public awareness Confirmation that the company is held accountable for unresolved transactions
