    Chief Construction(*********************) was hired to **** our master bathroom in July 2019. Stated in our contract, was...Bathroom renovation 8x5-$13,000.00 -Demolition of existing bathroom to studs -Install all necessary plumbing water and waste lines -Install all necessary electrical -Install all necessary insulation to exterior -Install new moisture resistant Sheetrock throughout bathroom -Install new Dura rock throughout shower area -Install new rubber membrane throughout shower floor -Pour new shower base (concrete base over membrane)-Install new shower body in shower area -Install new rain head in shower area -Install new drain in shower area -Install new tile in shower floor -Install new tile in throughout bathroom -Install new all new bull nose base trim -Install saddle at door to bedroom -Install grout throughout all tile -Install sealer over all ********* April 2023, our kitchen ceiling began to show water damage. When we approached *********************, about the issue, he tried to tell us the side of our house had water damage and needed to be completely removed. We had multiple opinions on the matter and every inspector said the outside of our house was fine. New windows were put in with no issue or any sign of water. The kitchen ceiling was opened and saturated. Mold was present. When water was turned on in the bathroom shower above the kitchen, water began to leak. *** still refused to believe it was coming from the shower. We hired another contractor to fix it. The results when the shower was torn up, was that there was no shower pan, no water proofing, holes around tiles which were covered by the shower faucet so we could now see the poor job of tile work. Shower faucet was installed upside down, tile work is not level.Water had been leaking since day 1. It has taken time for us to see since water damage has been internal. We have now paid someone else to fix the damage and make our bathroom usable once again. *** should compensate us.
