    Gym is refusing to cancel membership despite request in writing and in person. They state I owe money. I am happy to pay only what I owe, $39 however this is not a valid reason to refuse to cancel my membership.

    *****, our General Manager has taken care of it. We waived her 30 day notice to cancel to leave on a good note.

    She is welcome to return in the future.

    - November to december of 2022 i had paid $80.00 I was told that i would receive a wristband that granted me special access to amenities that were included with the membership i chose and after 2 months i still hadn't. I went there one last time and spoke to the employee at the desk and filed to have my account cancelled as i didnt feel i was getting the correct services for the money i was paying. I have just found out that they are trying to charge me $230.00 for unpaid fees even though i had cancelled this membership. The manager ***** has been anything but helpful, telling me i need to pay $230.00 dollar fee to cancel my already cancelled membership. I am reporting this because as far as im concerned this is theft, i was told that the account was cancelled, i feel violated that they think that they can demand money from me for services i wasnt provided.I seek to have these charges removed ASAP or i will be contacting a lawyer and this will be taken to court if not resolved soon.

    Policy note: we accept all cancellation requests by email so we have a record.  We have no record of a cancellation request.

    This membership was not paid from 1/15/2023-5-16-2023 leading to the status:  Return for Collections.

    We will not pursue collecting dues or blemish your credit in any way.

    There is nothing to refund, as we were not paid.  

    We would like to part ways amicably.
