    WARNING___DO NOT HIRE__MAJOR LIABILITY: We found Riley on the **** **** app. We hired him to weed some areas and redo our landscaping and hardscaping. He guaranteed a price and completion date before Fall.

    1. He weeded the planting beds, removed all the weeds and ALL OF OUR SHRUBS & then threw them in the middle of our lot WITHOUT PERMISSION. He cost us about $2000 in shrubs and perennial flowers. HE DIDN’T REPLACE THE PLANTS but did move them to another location along with the weeds.

    2. When he began working on the hardscaped staircase and walking path, he built a staircase that would compete with 3-year-old building blocks. HE DIDN’T KNOW HOW TO BUILD STAIRS OR WATCH ******* VIDEOS

    3. He dug out the whole side yard and piled all the dirt on the newly leveled backyard without permission. We had JUST PAID another contractor over $1000 to grade the area. HE HAD NO RESPECT FOR OUR PROPERTY and DID NOT CORRECT THE ISSUE.

    4. Then he ordered plants from the local nursery and didn’t have the equipment to unload them. We had to return the order. HE HAS NO LANDSCAPING EXPERIENCE.

    5. He gave us a different price on the evergreens than we were almost charged. HE CANT READ PRICE TAGS and didn’t get it in writing from nursery.

    6. He was supposed to weed, level, and seed a few thousand square feet. We gave him detailed plans and renderings of the design. HE COULDN’T COMPLETE THE WORK. He has no skills or experience.

    7. After we realized he could not do the work, he referred us to his insurance company, assuring us they would take care of us. When they refused to cover the damages, he guaranteed us he would make it right and cover the costs personally.

    8. HE HAS LEFT US with about 20K IN DAMAGES. He ghosted us, and current estimates are double what we would have paid IF WE HIRED A PROPER CONTRACTOR because all his work needs to be removed before the NEW WORK can be done.
