      This place is amazing. Good group of barbers. Ive been to all 3 of there locations. Its a great environment for me and my children. Its our barbershop but not the barbershop for everybody

      On July7, 2022 a barber named ******* at the Devil's Strip Barber Shop, knowingly, intentionally, and maliciously disfigured my hair after I'd kept an appointment he had set for me at 3pm that day. During what was purportedly being performed as a haircut, I was directed, by him, away from the view of any mirrors while he performed an intentional act of malpractice on me. I was unaware of what was being done, and sat there, trustingly, while he and the owner of the shop, **** or ***, seemed to joke between themselves about people complaining of being given 'bad haircuts'.When ***** turned me toward the mirror to show me the result, I was shocked to see what he had done. We had specifically discussed what I'd wanted, and he'd cut my hair once before to my satisfaction. But here, it was clear that that this was no matter of a poor performance on his part. It was a deliberate, disfiguring, use of his hair-cutting tools on my head. I immediately responded in horror and stated that I thought that he'd done this on purpose. Shockingly, he stated to me that, in fact, he had done it on purpose. I asked him why he would do such a thing, and what had I ever done to him. To that he said "nothing." And then stated that he didn't want my business, and to 'get the [expletive] out'. I was very upset, as anyone would be. I felt violated, and have been seriously traumatized by the experience.I also intend to bring this matter to the attention of the **** ***** Cosmetology and ****** *****. This complaint is against a business that has engaged in not just bad business practice, but what amounts to a deliberate form of physical assault on a customer. If you are thinking of booking a haircut at The Devil's Strip, think twice.
