    I attended a local electronics recycling drop off event in ***********************. This business looked like they could be trusted from seeing there reviews so I recycled a bunch of old PCs expecting my data to be destroyed. I have been receiving emails and text alerts about someone from this business trying to access my information and change my passwords. I am very concerned and disappointed. I have reset all of my passwords

    Hello, ******. The alert you received was us checking the phone you dropped off to see if it had been reset and logged out before dropping off for recycling. Your device was still logged in when checked, which meant that it was immediately physically destroyed at our facility. In the future, we do offer to destroy any items on-site, either at collection events or at our main warehouse as you watch. Our company has a strong focus on the refurbishment and re-use of any electronics that are not at end-of-life. This minimizes the amount of waste produced in the recycling process.     Sounds like you write your own reviews, especially since all are dated within a few days of each other. And....what about your other business of shipping e-waste to third party customers using sender name of your president ******************************* how could reviewer below have used this service for years when the company has only been in business since 2021???
