  ******* wanted money down in which I did give him $150.00 to start the job, once started he’s asking me for the rest before he was done in order for him to pay his rent he has said one thing and done another we agreed balance due on completion. This is a vacant house right now so he comes & goes as he likes after going over and seeing the progress I told him I didn’t like what the trim looked like and pink insulation hanging out the sides of the quarter round , he caulked the insulation with it hanging out of the quarter round . On Sunday he sent a guy out to put more caulk and not replace the trim I told him no and showed him what it looked like he made the statement that don’t look good and I sent him on his way. ******* is now threatening me if I don’t pay him. He didn’t finish the job but is hounding me to pay him so he can pay his rent. Requesting all the money back

  I called the owner ******* on Monday July 15th for a quote on a new garage door. I told him I wasnt ready for install until September.. He showed me a garage door through text message. it was $1500. I had to pay him $750 to hold the garage door.
  
  I gave him $750 on July 18th. He gave me a bill of sale
  
  I called him on in September to see when he will be able to install my door. He stated that he had a death. Stated the middle of the month 15th of September.
  
  I called him on September the 13th. No response. I also texted him. He replied the on September 16 stating the week of September 23
  
  I have been getting the run around about this garage install and wanting my money back. Will also be filing a police report

  I contacted ******* ***** of Premium Garage Door Serv & Home Imp to put a French drain in at my dad's house and to finish a front door. Found his name in our local paper. He came out Friday, October 21, 2022, to give me a price. The total amount for both jobs was $1,300. He said he would come back out Monday to do the job. He wanted half for deposit and to purchase materials. I gave him $650 cash. He signed he received the money. He came out Monday, October 24 to drop off materials and tools. Said he would be out next day, Tuesday, to do the job. Tuesday comes and goes. Wednesday comes and goes. No show, no call. I contacted him on Thursday and asked him when he was coming out to do the work. He told me on Friday that he would be there tomorrow, Saturday at 10:00am. Then he texted me and said Sunday. Sunday morning came and again, no show, no call. I texted him to tell him we would be going with another contractor and he said he got behind on another job and would definitely be there tomorrow, Monday. Monday comes and he texts and says that it is raining he will be there for sure after it stops. It stopped, no show. Tuesday comes, no show, no call. I texted him Tuesday, November 1 and told him to return our money, we will be going with someone else. Told me no, he will be out for sure tomorrow to dig. He told me I was in breach of the contract and he would be keeping the money. There is no contract!! If anyone was in breach, it is him! He said he would return $550 of the $650. Since then, he has kept promising that he would come drop the money off and he hasn't. I even offered to bring his supplies and materials to him. Nothing!! The supplies and materials do not even come close to $650. I have called the police, not much they can do. They did call him, but that is about all they can do. DO NOT HAVE THIS GUY DO WORK FOR YOU!!! He is a scammer and takes advantage of people!! We cannot get the work done until we get our money back.
