    I contacted Carl's Heating and Air Conditioning to replace a whistle on my heating oil tank. When the work was completed, it was determined to be an illegal fix because Carl's had bypassed my existing ventilation system and was venting the oil tank into the house. No oil company will deliver oil under these circumstances because it is a major safety hazard.

    It seems like common sense that ventilating an oil tank into a home is a terrible idea, the Carl's team acting in an ethical manor to the public.

    On December 10, 2022, ***** came out to look at our boiler after a CO detector had gone off. He told us that we needed to have our boiler cleaned and a pipe stack added. He left telling us that someone would call on Monday to schedule that. No one ever did.
    In February, I called and had scheduled myself to have someone come out. ***** came back and cleaned the boiler, said everything was all good. We specifically asked about the extended pipe stack, and he told us now that it wasn’t needed.
    Our CO detector went off again that evening. So I called back. He came out with someone else that reeked of marijuana. So bad that after they left, I was embarrassed when another person working on my house had to go in the basement and smell the strong scent of marijuana. They again told me all good, but they’d work on getting a pipe stack.
    After waiting around two weeks, I called again to ask when they were going to put the stack on. The person on the phone said they would be out that afternoon, to my surprise, as no one had told me. Then, they never even showed.
    Finally they came and put a pipe stack on, extending about 3 feet. Again, they told me all good.
    CO detector went off again that night.
    After this in March, I got 3 bills, including finally the December bill.
    Then after more calls, they finally came out with the 5 ft pipe, which immediately ripped out with the first gust of wind after they left.
    They came back and took the pipe, and still here I am, almost 5 months later, still unable to use my boiler.

    We are completely frustrated and disappointed. We have wasted so much time, and have no resolution.
    We would like a refund of the $630 we have paid, seeing as nothing has been fixed.

    We have called multiple times, spoken to the owner who said she would investigate and never called back, emailed, posted reviews, and even tried messaging on ********. No one has contacted us again.
