My wife and I were very pleased with the service provided by Echols Heating and Air Conditioning. We would highly recommend their professional and prompt service! Our older furnace was not working properly as it would quit running prior to reaching the desired temperature. I often perform repairs around the house including the furnace when needed. I was able to get the furnace running but it was apparent that it was time for a professional as my wife noted. The furnace continued to fail at times over a week period. It has been quite a few years since a certified HVAC technician had serviced our furnace. Echols had serviced us years ago so we decided to call them first.Echols scheduled an appointment. The HVAC technician, ********** , was able to come earlier than scheduled to accommodate or need. We found *** to be very polite and knowledgeable. *** began by discussing our issues with our furnace and what I had already serviced myself. *** also walked outside with me to inspect the chimney as I had informed him of recent repair of the liniment and cap. *** inspected the thermostat too. After discussion with ***, my wife and I decided that it would be best if *** could perform a full and thorough diagnosis of the furnaces electrical and mechanical aspects. As a DIY person, I felt it was time for a professional! Upon inspection of the furnace, *** was very patient educating me as to the furnaces operation and parts in his inspection. *** checked tolerances too. Following the full diagnosis, *** recommended appropriate repair explaining the problems and solutions. My wife and I were very pleased with the excellent service and professionalism. It pays to hire a professional! We highly recommend Echols Heating and Air Conditioning. I informed *** too that I would like to ensure that our furnace and air conditioner are safe and well maintained by enrolling in annual inspections of Both. Small issues may be discovered early ! Being a Contractor myself, I am always apprehensive when I have to have something done on my own home and yet can't do it myself and have to rely on other professionals in the trades. However, for 30 years I have used Echols's for any servicing of my Heating and cooling system. ( my old system was 35 years old!!!!) I wanted to update my system and still went through the process of getting 2 more quotes besides Echols from other very well known and respected HVAC Companies. All 3 Companies were on the same page of apples to apples needs for my home. However, due to my prior confidence with Echol's, as well as my research on their BBB and Google Reviews and reading the good, bad and ugly reviews (trust me, there is no perfect Company, but you can read between the lines and see the truest integrity of a Company and a Consumer-based on these reviews if you keep an open mind!) I was quite impressed with so many years in Business and all the Very Positive Reviews and even the ones who weren't stellar, Echol's replied and tried to make good on situations! That meant a lot! Therefore, even though Echol's was not the lowest bid, I Contracted with them anyway! I was so glad I did! The guys were amazing, very respectful of my home and our conversations based on my own trade knowledge and lack of knowledge in this instance but wanting to know enough to be understanding of this new system. They also had some issues with a faulty new Thermostat at 6:00 at night ( so ordered a new one and returned the next day with the new one and installed it!) and some PVC piping needed corrected due to an odd ben/slope that they caught on their "punch out- final walk thru" and they corrected it immediately, so my new system would operate perfectly! Bravo Echol's! You have me as a customer for another 30 plus years hopefully!Echols Heating and Air Conditioning, Inc.

A long time, over 30 years with the company. Appreciate their willingness to help whenever needed. A few of the things I have come to depend on with Echols: - Wonderful staff always availble for questions, concerns, or appointments - The Service Agreement process- two scheduled visits a year to maintain our furnace and air- conditioner; less worries - Most especially the expertise of the techs; thank you *** for answering all my questions! Thanks for jumping in a week ahead of my scheduled visit due to an easily fixed problem. I Recommend Echols Heating and Air Conditioning to family, friends and neighbors.Echols Heating and Air Conditioning, Inc.

We built our home 10 years ago and had geothermal heating installed. We have been very happy with this. We previously had gas in our other home and saw a big improvement for us on our yearly heating and cooling bills. We thought it was important to set up a regular maintenance schedule in case we experienced a problem with our furnace. We were not sure who serviced this type of furnace and found out that many companies did not. We found Echols Heating did service geothermal units. We had a problem with our furnace a year ago, and Echols got right on it. We had extremely warm days last summer and that is when our furnace (also an air conditioner unit on geothermal) quit running. Echols sent someone right out and they spent a couple days going through everything and repairing the furnace (air conditioner). We experienced another smaller problem just recently and when I called to set up an appointment, they were able to come the very next day. My husband and I both would highly recommend the Echols Company and their service professionals.Echols Heating and Air Conditioning, Inc.

Thank you for your continued service and trust in Echols Heating.For anyone that might see this review, geothermal is such an efficient way to heat and cool your home, as well as supplement hot water. We've been installing and servicing geo for over 30 years. It is more expensive up front compared to a traditional system, however, the 30% tax credit on geo for the next 10 years is a huge savings. P.S... this tax credit is eligible on replacement units as well!
