    I paid the ups store #3008 to pack and ship a typewriter. According to their website, having ups do the packing ensures 100% to receive the item without damage. My item wasn’t just damaged but damaged to the point it’s not reparable. I’m asking for a refund of the shipping and the cost of the item. $110 shipping. $27 cost of the item.

    Mr ******* signed a binding contract at the time of shipping which states among other items that he must provide photo's of the damaged product (which he did 1 hr ago) along with photo's of the box and materials used in packaging (which he has not provided so far). I have sent multiple emails to Mr. ******* over the last two days as this claim was just initiated 2 days ago and have been working with him. I'm not sure why he would file a complaint with the BBB as this whole process just started 2 days ago (seems premature). 

    As the UPS Store is not UPS (two different companies) I am bound to follow the claims process through UPS and need these pictures before I can start a claim. I have been nothing but cooperative over the last 2 days (since he first sent me the information about the damage), but Mr. ******* has not provided the pictures that I detailed out in an email to him so that I can start the claim process.

    I have sent the photos asked. The response is that I have not. Furthermore, the packaging was done by the store

    I have submitted a claim to UPS and it takes 8-10 business days for a response from them.
