    On 1/14 I shipped a package via UPS. I paid extra for the store to pack it since it was fragile. I also purchased insurance.

    The package arrived with 3 of 6 items broken. The items were pottery going to an auction house.

    I contacted UPS on 1/17 to file a claim after trying to file on line but it didn't process.

    When I followed up on the claim, I was told that I filed with UPS not UPS Stores. I then contacted UPS Stores but they said it was too late to file and only UPS could help me. I tried calling UPS and they said only UPS Stores could help.

    As a consumer, I would have no idea that the claim filed with UPS on 1/17 should have been with UPS Stores. The agent did not tell me this. It was a recorded call.

    I have not been able to get any help from either UPS or UPS Stores - they each say to call the other one. I have made over 10 calls about this.

    Good morning. My name is ***** ********* and I am the Center Manager here at The UPS Store #****. I have spoken to the customer this morning regarding the issue and it is being resolved. BBB's assistance is no longer required.

     I am rejecting this response because:


    ***** from the UPS store called and gave me a new claim number.  He stated that someone from UPS would call by Thursday this week.   No one called.  When I called on Friday (to the number ***** recommended),  the manager at UPS said that they would not be processing the claim and that I should contact *****.

    I continue to bounce back and forth -  UPS says to call the UPS Store and the UPS Store says to call UPS.   Nothing has been done since claim was filed on 1/17/25.
