      My podiatrists wrote a prescription for foot-orthotics that I took to Yanke Bionics on 12/22/22.
      I requested them to submit the required amount to insurance by the end of the year (2022) as I was in a situation to get 80% reimbursed considering I met deductible for the year 2022.
      I paid them my part of the deductible (20%) on the same day i.e. 12/22/2022.
      Incidentally, they send the claim to United Health Care on January 11, 2023, and got declined.
      They raised the entire bill to me and forced me to pay the residual amount.
      I initiated several calls to make them understand that it was Yanke's problem that they didn't submit the claim in a timely manner and subsequently send my invoice to a collection agency.
      Since these types of situations may adversely impact credit rating/scores I paid them in full.
      I consider this is unfair business practice and they can not put the onus on a customer when they failed to serve them in a timely manner.

      ordered a pair of diabetic shoes, picked them up on 06/25/24. The doctor put a pair of inserts in the shoes before I tried them on. These are goof for 3 months. Starting wearing the shoes 07/01/24. When I went to switch the inserts 10/01/24 there was only pair in the box (were supposed have 3) I called and was advised there were supposed to be 3 all together I said there weren't and was basically told I was wrong and if I wanted more I would have to pay out of pocket because insurance wouldn't cover them since I should have them. That would be an additional $160.00. (which is what I paid after insurance for the shoes and inserts) Well no thanks, they should have been in the box but were not, that's not my fault !!! Needless to say I will not be going back to this place for my next shoes. I am now stuck until June 2025 to replace these shoes as my insurance only covers 1 pair every 12 months. What a shame and a scam.

      What a SCAM!!! They price their items almost DOUBLE what the insurance will pay, then once you get a bill a month later you are already on the hook. Unless you think ahead of time and make sure someone at the doctors office calls and checks benefits beforehand, but really, who does that. ALL ABOUT THE MONEY this place is. This company is just rotten!!!!!!! Shame on you Yanke Bionics!!

      Overcharged and by overcharge I mean $100s over. I had no option as their product was provided at an urgent care and I needed it to walk. It was an air cast small walking boot. For the boot I have from them they invoiced for $310.20. This item elsewhere and I looked up the company who made it distributed it . They Charged $73ish , another $89ish. They are taking advantage of clients exponentially. Many on ****** reviews have same issue with price and claims Ins. will cover them dont. They should not be in business robbing the consumer blind.
