We hired Red Lion Contracting in September to do Insurance repair work on our roof. The roof was replaced in October. Immediately after it was replaced we started having issues with leaks at the chimneys. We contacted Dave and a crew arrived and applied caulk around the chimneys. After the next rain it was reported that it was still leaking. Once the 3rd time came the owner ****** arrived and looked at the attic and said he knew what was going on. They replaced the shingles, some decking, placed ice guard and re-flashed the chimney. When it rained again they sadly got a text. They came out 2 more times trying to re-caulk it. Since then ****** called twice and I returned with a text and nothing for the last 2 weeks, except water in my attic
We had a roofer our to get a quote on the repair cost and he asked how old the roof was because the valleys are bubbled, the shingles are lifting, and the flashing is falling off. The roof can not pass the final inspection either because Red Lion did not remove the Attic fan when they placed the ridge vent, and the 2 work against each other. So we need a complete new roof :(

    Business Response

    Date: 04/23/2024

    /We
are writing in response to the complaint filed by **** ********* with the Better Business Bureau regarding the
services provided by our company, Red Lion Contracting, LLC. We appreciate the
opportunity to address the concerns raised and provide clarity on the matter.

    It is essential to note
that Mr. ********* entered into a legally binding contract with our company for
the performance of specific services. Per the terms of the agreement, our
company diligently commenced work as outlined in the contract.

    A short time into the
project, it became clear that Mr. ********* was engaging in what appeared to be
calculated behavior with the intent to breach the terms of the contract by delaying
payment as agreed upon. Initially, the non-payment was attributed to an
unfortunate situation where his bank account was compromised due to fraudulent
activities. We empathized with his predicament and offered our understanding
    during this challenging time.

    We maintained open
lines of communication with Mr. ********* to accommodate his  situation, expressing our willingness to work
with him as his financial affairs were resolved. Despite our efforts to
continue amicably, Mr. ********* transitioned his reasoning for non-payment
from the bank account issue to unfounded allegations regarding the quality of
    our workmanship.

    It is deeply concerning
to note that Mr. ********* has resorted to making false statements about our
company across various media platforms, tarnishing our previously pristine
reputation. Such actions not only undermine the integrity of our business but also
adversely affect our ability to serve our community.

We firmly stand by the quality of our work and emphasize that our company offers warranties to consumers who fulfill their contractual obligations. Regrettably, Mr. ********* has not met these obligations, thus invalidating any claims regarding work quality under warranty.
