      On 6/10/25, I scheduled an appointment with Roto-Rooter for a repair. My appointment time was between 2:00-4:00 PM. At 7:51 AM, Roto-Rooter's customer service called to confirm my appointment, which was fine, but then asked me to if it was okay to change the appointment time from 12:00-2:00. I again said that was completely fine. I put my phone on the charger for a while and came back up stairs to check and Roto-Rooter called me 12:03 and 12:06. I called them back at 12:39 and because I didn't confirm my appointment at 12:03, I was bumped. This was not at all explained to me when I gladly changed my appointment time to accommodate them and their schedule. If you have an appointment time between 12:00 and 2:00 and you confirmed that with your customer at nearly 8:00 AM that morning!!! When I talked to the customer service person, she then explained their policy. Told me that if I didn't answer when they called again, that they would bump me again! I told her that there would be no need to call me back that I am confirming right now that I would be here. She literally put me on hold for 2 seconds and then came back and said that I would need to confirm when they call. Needless to say, I asked for my original appointment and once they complete their service, I will not call them again. Just plain rude!

      I called roto rooter for slow tub drain and clogged downspout. I was offered an appt same day and tech arrived on time with phone call notifying me he was on the way. Drains were cleared to the best of ability. Technician **** took his time with me to explain a pipe layout problem that other companies hadn't noticed/hadn't told me about. He advised me to get my own snake to save money. He also gave me a quote for replacing the piping after discussing with his supervisor for guidance. Very grateful to have this young man help me and explain everything. Very personable and courteous. Would recommend this company (and tech ****) to anyone!
