    Parents beware.
    We've had 3 visits to the office and only 1 has been good.
    This last visit the dental hygienist belittled my child by saying she was acting like she was in PreK and not K because she was scared to try the sucker.
    They have twice now insulted me as a parent for acknowledging my kids fears. I have a child on the spectrum who has a huge fear of the dentist (thanks to a different dentist) and these fears have trickled down to my neurotypical child, and I have a lot of knowledge of psychology and special needs. The way to alleviate fears is #1) acknowledging the emotion #2) gentle encouragement to face these fears. Exposure therapy comes in steps. You have a fear of spiders you don't throw a spider in someone's lap. You start with pictures and pretending your hand is a spider. Then you see spiders from a distance behind glass. Slowly you get closer until you eventually touch one and then hold one. It's a slow steady process. This place instead of being a dental office pretends to know something about psychology (they do not) and tells you that you as a parent are making the kids scared. Then when your child is crying, they try to push and manipulate them to do what you want rather than try to help the kid past the fear.
    Even though our first experience was the opposite (Becky was the first dental hygienist we saw and she was FANTASTIC) I will never again go back to this place and I really hope other parents don't either.
