I was a seasonal site holder in the campground. I purchased a camper in 6/2022 that was in the park. I forced to sell the camper this spring. my camper was 2008 making it 15 years old. Their rules, which i was not provided prior to purchasing the site, states campers older than 15 years must be moved if sold. I called and verified with the woman manger that I could sell and camper remain in park. i was told yes becasue it was just 15 years old. 2 weeks later I agreed to sell the camper to a couple on the condition it could stay in the park. The buyers called the campground to take over the spot and were then told by the manager that the camper would have to be moved. They then backed out of the deal. I had it sold for $8000.00 and lost it. I was forced to sell the camper without the site for $6400.00 costing me 1600.00. Plus the owners of the camp kept my $400.00 deposit for the 2023 season which I could not use or sell and would not refund my $30.00 deposit for the gate card which I returned after the sale. They were paid in full for the 2022 season and the 2023 season began April 14th and the camper was all removed from the site prior. My deposit was kept due to not cleaning up leaves. It was winter time. There's nothing in the card deposit that states about clean up. The card is optional, just a convenience. I want my $400.00 site deposit and my $30.00 card deposit refunded.
