I was renting a unit since March 2023. I emailed them that I would be no longer needing my unit as of October 31 of 2023. They said that I would have to go in and schedule a move out day well, funny that, I couldn’t schedule a move out date till the end of November. I don’t understand why it won’t give me the options of moving out basically forcing people to have to pay an extra month when they’re not using the facility.. my belongings have been removed from the premises by me before October 31 and yet they have tried to run a payment three times on my bank account and each time it’s $10-$15 more. I never authorize that but yet because they have my information they’re trying.. I don’t feel I have to pay for a service that I am no longer using that’s crooked. all of my stuff was out the floor was swept my lock and key was placed on the floor as of October 31. not to mention within that little bit of time of me, renting they raise the rent.. I know that they have a business to run but don’t be crooked as of October 31. I had nothing in that unit and it was clean. The last time they try to run a payment was on Friday, November 3 for $98. My unit was only $53

    Hello,

We appreciate your feedback and concerns related to your recent experience at our facility.

We'd like to clarify the move-out procedure as outlined in your lease agreement signed on March 16th. According to the terms of the lease, tenants are required to schedule their move-out online at least 30 days prior to the commencement of the next billing cycle. This important requirement is reiterated in each of the six subsequent invoices you received during your tenancy. It's worth noting that, in your case, only 4 days' notice were provided and thus in accordance of your lease you would be responsible for November rent.

Furthermore, it's important to mention that the autopay authorization you signed on March 16th also grants us the authority to collect any outstanding debts owed by the tenant, in accordance with the terms and conditions outlined in the lease.

We hope this provides clarity on the procedures outlined in your lease agreement, and we remain available to address any further questions or concerns you may have.

    Regards
