N****’s Bar is available to Guests of N****’s Front House for an additional charge. ***Note*** All Bachelor and Bachelorette Parties Must Rent the Back Barn"
    I specifically stated I wanted to use the barn. The renter, Cameron N****, was aware of this being for a bachlorette party making the barn mandatory. I completed and submitted the rental agreement through VRBO for approval (attached). The reason I picked this property was for the barn. At no point in any communication was I told the barn was unavailable. Upon arriving, the barn was filled with equipment, trash, etc. Also, someone was nesting in it because there was a sleeping bag on couch and a dirty food bowl on the end stand. I was heartbroken. And, because there was a nester in the barn, being in the house made us feel unsafe...like there was someone watching. Picture in ad show that is is right across from a dock with little beach area to sit. However, it's a drop off from the road, with about 50 yards of overgrown grass, leading to a rocky edge; no direct access to the lake. And the yard itself was overgrown.
    I filed a complaint with VRBO (8-15) and the renter (8-16) as well as neighborhood watch hoping some resolution will be given. Requesting a partial refund for false advertising, misleading information, poor communication, and lack of safety. Also hoping listing is removed so this doesn't continue to happen to others.
