    My pet cat was using Hill's Prescription Diet food because he was entering kidney failure. In late December I purchased two cases plus numerous individual cans of the cat food, totaling $154.49. My cat died suddenly just days later, so I had a lot of cat food, with cases that had not been opened, that I could no longer use. The prescription diet food is very expensive, so I contacted Kroner Animal Care, where I had bought the food, and asked if it could be returned. I was told that it could, so I gathered up all the food that I had just bought and took it into the business. Then I was told that money could not be returned, that they would only place the amount on my account. I DON'T HAVE AN ACCOUNT, BECAUSE I NO LONGER HAVE ANY PETS! I have spoken with the office manager, but she insisted that this is their policy, and exceptions could not be made. All I want is to get my $154.49 refunded! This should not be such a big issue, but they are standing by their policy, and won't give me my money! I believe that this business should be investigated and penalized.
