5 starsLast week we awoke to an absence of hot water, and water on the floor next to our gas water heater. We called Smylie One, and Stephanie rapidly arranged a same-day visit, keeping me informed about arrival time.
Dwight arrived even a little early, quickly diagnosed the failed water heater and the need for replacement. (The old one was more than 10 years old). He gave me a quote within minutes, then began draining the tank and preparing for its removal.
Within an hour he returned with a new tank, a new pressure regulator, and a colleague, Anthony. They removed the old tank, installed and activated the new one. After testing all the functionality, we have a new water heater - total time from first phone call: 6 hours.
Very professional, prompt and transparent work. Will continue to use Smylie as the need arises.

I had a Smylie One technician come to look at my heat/boiler that was not working. I was quoted almost $16,000 for a new boiler including install and labor. I got 3 more quotes and ended up paying $500 to fix it and was told it was fine and would last many years. I am a long time resident of the Chagrin Valley and will make sure the I let everyone I know not to use this company.Smylie One Heating, Cooling & Plumbing Co.

We have been servicing this home for a prior owner for years. We found on our call that the Boiler was 30 plus years old and had multiple leaks that had also gotten on the electrical parts of the Boiler. We quoted the client to Repair and replace ALL of the items for $8,300.00 We also gave her the option of an entire new system. She decided to have someone do something for $500.00. I have left multiple messages to call me back and have not received any response. As always it is our policy to do what is right for our clients.
