    I entered into a contract with Trending Construction on May 1, 2023 in the amount of $28,900. I paid them $15,200 up front for the materials they needed to start the work. They breached our contract by attempting to use reclaimed lumber, after which they attempted to raise the quoted price. They admitted they were in over their heads and not sure how to complete the job. At this time I terminated the contract and asked for a detailed invoice and refund. They provided an invoice for work that has not been completed and refuse to give me any type of refund. I have attached the contract, proof of payment, and photos that show that the work was not completed. Please assist me with getting a refund. They did do some work, however some of what they did had to be re-done since they put insulation in before starting the job and it was contaminated with mold that had not yet been cleaned up. The work that they did finish was a partial demolition and they purchased insulation. They left piles of debris in my yard and under the house. The home appraisal shows before photos and the new lumber that had been installed from previous repairs as well as the photos that are labeled before show new lumbar and joists that were not part of the work that trending construction did. They did not replace any joists or bring in any new lumber.
