    We selected this business because of its ratings and reviews. Unfortunately, they did not live up to them.
    We signed a contract in spring 2024. The work was supposed to be completed in fall 2024. Because of Estridge's staffing and weather issues, the project was delayed until spring 2025.
    Two days prior to commencing the project, we requested evidence of insurance (liability and workers comp) as stipulated in our contract. The workers comp certificate was in the name of a different company than our contract.
    We were referred to the Owner (***** ********) who stated--the day before they were to start--he didn't think they could handle the project and their workers comp did not cover all their workers. The Estridge brothers contradicted each other both in terms of what insurance they carried and whether they had the capability to perform the work. Despite conversations with their both their insurance agent and Ohio Workers Compensation legal department, we were unable to obtain any level of confidence that this organization is properly insured.
    We suspect--for reasons unknown to us--the Owner simply did not want to perform. We cancelled. The response was "sorry it didn't work out." We wasted a year of our time and are now back to square one. Additionally, the next contract will certainly reflect increasing costs.
