I signed up for a subscription and was happy with the purchase until I noticed a strong bias against Christians by the leadership and owners. They have fired non-jewish staff. I cancelled my paid subscription as a result. It did cancel the subscription but didn't get a refund.

I am continuing to hear extreme bias against Christians and I don't wish to financially support religious extremists.

Order placed September 25, 3024. Was told it would be a pre order to be received by December 2024. Sent several emails requesting when I could expect delivery without any responses. Then when shipment arrived, fabrics were totally unsuitable for project, fabric count was to be 100 different fabrics, some were straight up missing. Fabrics received looked like scraps they didn’t want and they were to be from the Liberty line of fabric of petite florals. I called company # and complained and they said to return. This return also included the book for the quilt. I waited over a week and no word so I called again. Order # given and lady said she would look into to return made. Again no response, so I again called. I was told the fabric had cat hair on it and was not able to be resold. I said that’s real interesting as it shouldn’t have been sold in the first place. I have said this is not acceptable, I want to speak to her supervisor, and of course no return call has been received. I have made purchases from this company in the past without issue and it is ridiculous I’m being denied a full refund. I want my money!

In the third week of December, I was solicited by Writers Digest University to sign up for one of their online writing workshops. Having subscribed to the magazine in the past and because they offered 10% off, I registered, paying with a credit card. Once I began the course and saw how unprofessional and badly designed their writing workshop website was, I requested a refund. They took out a small amount and refunded the rest. The problem I have with them is they sold my email address which also happens to be my ***** ID and so I can't change my email address. I was deluged with up to 20 spam/phishing attempts a day after Writer's Digest University refunded my money. I did a screen share with an ***** Advisor who looked at some of what I was getting and told me that not only was it spam, but it was a phishing attempt. I had to report these to phishing at Apple. Some of these now come to my junk folder, but in the very beginning, they were coming to my inbox. I am confident that it was AIM Media (Writer's Digest) who sold my email address as I don't sign up for anything on other websites and do all my online shopping with ******. Some of these emails were from someone calling themselves Everyday Writer trying to get me to buy their services. The sale of my email address has compromised my email account and taken up quite a bit of my time blocking the sender emails and reporting them as phishing to Apple. Some of the emails border on pornographic inviting me to get a product to improve my sexual performance.
