    We contracted with Molloy Roofing to repair gutter damage due to ice damming, and in addition to repair soffits on the opposite side of the roof. I met with the representative for Molloy Roofing and walked from side to side of the building where we needed repairs, and he said it could be done. We received a written agreement with description of the services, and signed the agreement. The work was completed for the gutter repair side of the building, BUT NO WORK WAS DONE TO THE OPPOSITE SIDE OF THE BUILDING. The soffits remain as they looked when I walked with the Molloy representative to show what work needed to be done. Molloy Roofing sent a statement stating that payment was due immediately, and we paid the agreed amount for the original contract, $2,074.00. A Molloy Roofing representative has now told us that the work was done but that it fell apart. However, the people living in the building have told us that no work was done on the soffits Molloy's rep claimed had been done. So now, Molloy Roofing has sent us a new estimate for work to complete the job they originally agreed to complete.

    ****,Thank you for your feedback and for the opportunity to clarify the situation.Our records confirm that the work performed by Molloy in early Spring 2025 aligned with the original written agreement dated January 28, 2025. That proposal clearly outlines two specific areas of repair:1.Right Side of the Property Approximately, but not more than 20 lineal feet of gutter and fascia repair, replacement of damaged gutter covers, and associated components.2.Left Rear Eave Replacement of approximately 10 lineal feet of missing soffit boards, to be stained to blend with existing *********** are available of completed work on both the right side and the left rear eave, including the newly installed soffit ********* response to your recent inquiry in June, our Project Manager returned to the property and observed that additional soffit damage had occurred on the left side of the buildingdamage that was not visible at the time of the original project and therefore not part of the initial scope of work. It was discussed that a separate estimate could be provided for this new work. Since that visit, we have made multiple good-faith efforts to follow up on this with you and your wife directly. Our office has left several voicemails and sent multiple text messages, including the most recent one that appears to have been read on July 23 at 10:28 AM. Unfortunately, we have not yet received any response.Molloy has proudly served the ******************** for over 125 years. We always aim to honor our commitments and provide clear documentation.     Molloy is SO MUCH BETTER than any other roofer I have dealt with!
    Molloy Roofing was slightly more expensive than another quote. But I choose Molloy because of the excellent ratings. (Trust me, it's important with roofers.) Both Jessie and Ted worked with me answering all the questions I had. They have been with the company for many years, and they care about getting the job done correctly.
    They kept in constant communication with me, and I knew what was going on throughout the entire process.
    Everyone on the job was professional, quick, and did an amazing job of cleanup. They came back to do a final inspection and brought out people to tidy up a few things. They even cleaned out the gutters when they were finished!
    During the reroofing, Ted told me that there was a nest of baby birds, and they weren't sure if they could remove them before they would need to seal the area. Ted agreed to just let that piece be left undone and they came back a few weeks later to complete the work after the babies were gone.

    I called saying I had discovered a leak from my roof or gutter. The Molloy rep scheduled a repair crew to come before any rain was expected. The two-person repair crew arrived on time and soon had the problem fixed. I was surprised at how low the cost of that repair was. In sum, a quality company that I shall call whenever I have any roofing/gutter issues.

If our office believes that a roofing or gutter problem might be addressed with a minor repair, they will generally schedule a two person *********** rather than an Estimator to visit your home. If a minor problem is found, we believe this is the most cost effective way to correct minor problems. If the repair crew encounters a more significant problem, they collect information for an estimate, and there is no charge for their trip. Repairs of this type are performed without a "contract", and we are grateful that you trusted us to make a quality repair for a reasonable cost!
