My two dogs stayed at the Pet Lodge while I went on vacation. My older dog, a schnauzer, Keeleigh was attacked and the top of her ear was bitten off by a husky. I found out what happened to my Keeleigh the day I returned from vacation. The owners of the lodge gave me a partial discount for the attack, which was $177. I was so distraught I paid the $500 bill with my Master Card. A few days later after my emotions settled a bit I felt they should have waived the entire fee for my schnauzer. I called Master Card to dispute the charge but sadly I lost for the lodge owners said my charge is non refundable. I feel what happened was a very extenuating circumstance. The lodge owners took my schnauzer to a vet to be treated and did pay for her care, which I do appreciate. I feel I was not treated well in the weeks ahead by the lodge owners. My schnauzer had an appointment soon after the attack with our vet and the owners said to inform them of Keeleigh’s visit. My vet said the attack should have been reported, the owner of the husky told of the attack and the husky needs to be quarantined for 10 days even if up to date with its shots. I called the Mahoning County Dog Warden but he never returned my call. I live in Hancock County and spoke to our former dog warden who told me the very same thing to report the attack and to quarantine. . I had the lodge owner’s personal cell # and texted them what needed done but they never responded. I called the lodge a few times wanting an itemized bill. I was ignored for six weeks and finally there’s a voicemail from the husband owner saying to call him about the bill. I called Master Card and a rep told me they sent him a letter recently so I’m sure that’s why he called me. I never returned his call just being so upset being ignored for weeks. If you go on the lodges website his response to negative reviews is very concerning. Please help, I started a new dispute to receive a $155 card credit. Sadly, my schnauzer unexpectedly passed thx

Set our dogs up at this pet lodge, we were told a bunch of different things over the phone. When we dropped them off, they wouldn't let us see the area of where the dog would be staying etc. When we went to pick them up, there was no one there. Someone came up front a rang us up for way more money than we were told. Wouldn't give us an invoice or receipt. They said they would email it. They didn't. Called and tried to talk to a supervisor yet that yielded nothing. Said they would send an invoice again and nothing, won't return our calls. I want to know what we got charged for.
