  The woman is unprofessional and services should not be performed by her and her team. Very bad attitude and dishonesty. She has a 1 star review on BBB prior to myself.

  I don't believe this has ever been my customer. I feel it's friends or family of the prior complaint as that man told me he was going to trash my company. I've been doing Chimneys for 11 years. We can't make everyone happy unfortunately but that don't require making things worse or having people I have never done business with bash me wrongfully.

  I asked this company to come out and give me an ESTIMATE on chimney work. They examined the exterior and when the woman wanted to examine the inside, she mentioned she had to vacuum the inside of chimney and clean it up to be able to examine looking up and know what additional damage might show to include in estimate. Once completed, the woman wrote a bill and inspection on a paper for services provided. Initially, I thought this is a document that is needed to support the estimate and was asked to sign it however, it ended up being a bill for the service. After signing, I felt pressured then to pay because I was confused the woman had not mentioned to me that she was charging me for any service, we did. It discuss any pricing as she mentioned she performed an inspection clean and sweep which I did not agree to and no price or cost of service was mentioned. The woman became very aggressive and disrespectful and started saying things that made absolutely no sense. She mentioned if I send my car for service its not free they work and you pay and I said yes however, a list of things are written down and discussed pricing prior to the service to agree on cost and then we sign for agreement. She said she does this to people All the time which is very scammish and easy way to take money from a customer. I asked her to refund me and return my check because she was not honest about service and I clearly mentioned to her I just wanted an estimate and she mentioned she gives free estimates and then lied to me and said she does not. The fact that someone already complained about her to the better business Bureau says it all. Please avoid this company anyone who reads this trust me, I am an honest person she wouldnt even give me my money back and she knows deep down she was in the wrong and it was done incorrectly which shows how she only cares on getting money from a person however way possible even to be sneaky. Please push to remove her services.

  I'm sorry you feel this way. None of my services time or knowledge are Free. This was not a small simple test. 2 huge chimneys containing 3 unsafe fireplaces. My job is to sweep and inspect in order to leave you an estimate of my findings for a solution. At no time was there a question of price. I've done this for 11years, and this situation is not typical. Chimney Services are never free of charge. With ladders going up tools brought inside, why would one ever think anything is Free. Multiple hours were spent at your vacant flip house also taking pictures and discussing thing with you thru the process. You signed the paperwork at completion and walked next door to write the check. You then returned handing me the check asking More Questions. You Never questioned my charges nor mentioning there was an issue. Chimney Sweep/Inspections Start at $199.00 per unit. I gave you $100.00 off each additional unit as a cutrosey. It wasn't until I left that you called to say your Wife didn't understand why you paid me. I didn't even give the estimate yet because the work need required major renovations that way more then a simple noted solution as there are options to make these units to code and safe. I asked multiple times during the phone conversation what type of solution we could agree to for everyone to be happy. You repeated "Do what's right". It seemed as you just wanted to argue that I wrongfully charged you and that your wife, the owner, was upset. This seems to be a personal family issue not a question of my performance or knowledge. At this point I will no longer work for you in the future.

  I hired this company to clean my chimney in my Masonry brick fireplace, the tool they used to clean my chimney never even scratched the surface! They did a fine job of vacuuming out the lower portion of the fireplace, but never actually cleaned the chimney.

  After 8yrs in the Industry as a Sweep and 3yrs with Chimney Chick, this is a first complaint. I'm sorry for any misunderstanding. A discount was requested and givin prior to service and that was no issue as I always work with and or help the community. Upon entry I was made aware there had not been prior service with this fireplace in many years. The chimney was in Extreme lack of annual maintenance as recommended by NFPA 211. The customer sat at a far away kitchen table curious and questioning every process being done. Explanations were given throughout the entire process. Service was completed and payment was received. I was unaware at completion there were further issues or questions. If given the opportunity appropriate steps would have been taken to resolve any issue or concerns.
