    Approximatley September 20, 2022 I took my child to Brunswick Kidds for their bi-annual exam that is 100% covered by our 2 insurances. In December 2022 I received a $96 bill for the exam. I contacted Brunswick Kidds and they responded it is an is*** with my ex's insurance, it is not a true bill, and they are working on it. February 2023 I received another bill for $96 and was again told to disregard it as they are still working with the insurance. April 2023 I received another bill for $96 and was told they are still working with the insurance. They were supposed to call my ex to try to settle the supposed insurance is***. May 2023 I got another bill for $96 and was told they were still having problems with the insurance and now my insurance is wanting payment back. August 2023 I've received yet another bill for $96. They are still claiming problems with the 2nd insurance and that they need my ex to contact them regarding the insurance and until he does there will be a balance on the account. Later they stated my insurance had made payment. They had previously successfully billed both insurances for a filling and should have no problems for a routine exam. They also refuse to bill only my insurance and I never received an EOB from my insurance showing they've attempted to bill them for the visit. Only the first bill listed what the charge was for, all subsequent bills have been blank. I believe they are attempting to committ insurance fraud and collect more money than they are entitled to. I would like them and their adult counterpart Advanced Dentistry investigated for insurance fraud as I've had nothing but is***s with both offices in regards to insurance, billing, and services rendered. They also have never attempted to follow-up with me about the supposed insurance is***s, just repeatedly send me bills.

    We are writing to inform you of a resolution to complaint #********. Due to multiple is***s with the coordination of benefits, the process of closing the claims for family of *** ************** was longer than our typical experience. Their case was an exception to the standard rule of coordination of benefits between two coverage policies. Multiple attempts were made to correct this with both insurance companies, as well as contact made with the responsible party to have them make contact the insurance carries.


    An outcome regarding the unresolved claims is as follows. Settlement with both insurance policies has been achieved and the family account was able to be balanced. This resulted in a credit to be is***d to the responsible party. A check for $142 was mailed on 8/17/2023. She will no longer receive statements or contact from our office.
