    I recently hired hickory home inspection for a home inspection, and unfortunately, it was a huge letdown. The inspector missed several critical issues with the property that are now costing me a lot of time and money.First and foremost, the foundation was in terrible condition, but the inspector completely overlooked it. In fact, it wasnt until the bank appraised the property that they caught the issue right away. I now have a major repair on my hands that should have been flagged during the inspection.Additionally, the inspector failed to notice that there was no ductwork leading to one of the ducts in one of the rooms. This was something that should have been easily caught when he ran the system to make sure AC is going to all of the ******** make matters worse, the boiler wasn't working properly. Only one of the zones was functioning, and the inspector didnt flag this either. Im now left with expensive repairs that could have been avoided if the inspection had been *********** extremely disappointed with the quality of the inspection. A home inspection should give you peace of mind, but instead, it has caused nothing but headaches. I would not recommend this service to anyone.
