Thank you so much for taking the time out of your busy schedule to write this. Unfortunately this matter is a form of harassment towards my company in order to obtain money from us to pay another trade. A trade we have zero responsibility for in all matters of this case. Originally, Home owner asked specifically if we can be hired to do the job WITHOUT a GC. A GC is a general contractor whos job is to over sea the entire project and hire other trades as well as manage these trades during and after the scope of the work has been completed. We are a small two person TILE company who stated immediately out of the gate that we do not do plumbing or electrical. We are not licensed for this in any way. Home owners confirmed THEY would hire a plumber and electrician and deal with them. We helped in every way we could to help set the plumber up in order for his job to be done. Issues with plumbing need to be addressed with Buckeye Plumbing. They were paid for a job that was left incomplete and to serious dissatisfaction by both the home owner as well as our selves. There are several emails and text messages that we clearly stated free labor for installing grab bars, doors and even baseboards which for some reason are now not included in this complaint but new issues regarding "commode installation, and shower fixtures" both are to be done by paid plumber. This complaint from the Homeowner has changed several times in regards to what is actually the problem. We have kept in "good faith" to offer not once, but twice, to pay for any issues that the plumber may have caused. They have been both denied by HO and more money was then asked on the third attempt. We are sorry for the plumbing issues caused by another, please do not hold a tile installer responsible for we cannot control anything outside of tile. HO has a beautiful remodeled bathroom we would love to see actual photos of instead of "during scope of work" shots. We also have several emails from client expressing how wonderful and beautiful the work is but now complains. We have been paid in full after satisfaction from the HO. Sea La Vie did not hire or contract the plumber used (Buckeye Plumbing) for this job. Customer holds all contacts and responsibility.

    ******:

Per clients complaint, non of the requesting services were services that were paid for. Please see your own exhibits for information that was clearly stated via text and email. These services are services we were willing to do for free. You cannot ask for a refund for services that were not paid for, these are false claims. Lawyer has been involved and correspondence has been sent to client. Sea La Vie tile once again was not the GC on this project, we cannot be responsible for other work provided by other trades. Home owner has an agreement and contract with plumbing company.

[If you do not say why you are rejecting the company's response, BBB must close your complaint.]

I am rejecting this response because they said in an email they would pay us $2250 and referred to the services as "paid for". We are requesting the matter be referred for arbitration. Thank you.
