    ******* was engaged to service my HVAC with their initial visit in October 2021, and paid in advance for a $249 annual service contract. During the initial visit the tech found a part that needed replacement and asked for payment of this $213 and a credit card was provided. Over a year later, when performing a second annual checkup they notified me that the $213 balance was due, and again I provided them with a credit card and stood in the driveway with the tech while he processed it and he actually apologized that for some reason this mistake occurred on their end and they didn’t catch this sooner. Several months later, in December 2022, I again was called and asked for payment on this charge, and I declined to pay again asking them to forgive this debt because over a year later and twice providing them credit card details it’s unfair to surprise someone with this bill over a year after service and when they twice been give opportunity to run a credit card and receive payment but they failed to do so. This has not been an issue of my failure to pay, they are negligent in completing the transaction and causing hardship when a bill shows up unexpected.
