I had my 2015 Chevy Impala detailed at this location on November 6th. Upon car being dropped off to the owner for detailing everything worked as it should, after picking the car up the Dual climate control panel for the Heat and Air no longer worked. I contacted the owner the following morning as it was after business hours when car was picked up, explain the situation to the owner and sent supported pictures of said complaint. He got back with me and sent me a description of things to try from the internet was already tried and nothing corrected the issue. He did not offer to have the car looked at did not offer to look at the car himself, so I informed him we would take it to a garage and have it looked at he said okay let him know what they said. After having the car looked at the mechanic that did the work said that the Dual climate control was fried due to to the chemicals that was used in the detailing saturating the panel, panel was still wet when it was removed to be replaced. Pictures and videos were then sent to the owner as well as the description from the mechanic of the issue and he has yet to reply or get back ahold of me it has been six days five of which being business days.

    Business Response

When customer dropped vehicle off it was stated to me that it had a musty smell. After getting the car in we found a lot of standing water in the trunk. We do not spray any chemicals directly on any instrument panels.

I had a death in the family and of course the holiday that this incident slipped my mind. I have reached out to the customer with no response until now. Over 30 years of experience in this field I have never had any complaints of damaging instrument panels.

I offered to refund half of the detail cost and that is not knowing if it was my company that did this damage or the fact that this car had water damage when it came to me.
