    My wife and I hired Justin from Sweet Fellerz Tree Care to remove two dead trees from our property. The work was performed over multiple days with final cleanup consisting of removal of the large sections of the tree being loaded by use of a skid steer. The final day Justin brought his skid steer on a large trailer. Upon backing the trailer up one of our driveways, the hitch on his truck dug into the asphalt pavement and gouged a fresh 6’ trench in the center of the drive.
    This driveway was not being used by anyone else the entire week prior to Justin’s arrival. I’ve hauled many trailers in my career and I know exactly how this took place. Justin had to know and feel the resistance of the backing trailer digging into the pavement. He did not make us aware that the damage was done. Only by my wife watering flowers and noticing the fresh gouge in the pavement were we aware. She took pictures and I forwarded them to Justin via text the next day. Justin actually came out and measured the area and took responsibility. He agreed to have me contact three local asphalt companies to get an estimate to repair the damage. However, after I was able to get the estimates with the lowest being $200, Justin stopped all communication with me. I called and texted him several times. I even agreed to take half $100, but still no response. My wife and I are highly disappointed in the actions of Justin. We had recommended him to several of our friends, to which we have since rescinded! I’m a former member of 8 years of the BBB and have been in business for 30 years. I would Never let something like this happen. It’s a shame that Justin is willing to throw away the best advertising, word of mouth for $100. Very Sad.

    I am sorry that you are so unhappy. I have tried multiple times to call you to discuss this issue with no response other than through threatening text messages sent in the middle of the night. I never claimed responsibility for the damage you have accused me of. I did come out to assess the damage and take measurements to assure that it was my equipment that was the cause of the damage. After inspection and measurements of all equipment, it does not appear that this damage was caused by any of my equipment as you seem to think it was. I have tried to communicate this to you by trying to call several times. You have not answered or returned any of my calls. You have only sent nasty threatening texts at all hours of the night. As you stated, if my hitch had dug into the pavement as you have suggested, I would have felt the resistance when pulling away. This was not the case as I felt no resistance at all. In a text you sent, you stated that the tenants were not home that weekend. This is also not the case as I personally saw them at the house both days that I was there working. I have done my best to be professional and respectful while providing my services for you and your wife despite respect not being returned. For example, we had agreed to the price of $500 for one of the services and after completion your wife refused to pay me and only gave me $200. Even after that I continued to complete services for you when many companies would not have. I am sorry that you are so upset. I believe we could have resolved this issue had you answered or returned my phone calls.
