I purchased a bottle of **** ****** on 6-7-2023 which is during the promotional period. I mailed a completed entry form tag that was attached to the **** ****** bottle and the original dated receipt showing my purchase. I have not received the rebate check of $3.00.Business Response

I purchased Tide washing machine cleaner and used it in my washing machine. It will not come out and ruined my machine. I contacted the manufacturer. They asked me to send pictures etc. I sent them everything they requested. They wanted to set up a phone call, during the call they insisted it was not the product and would not replace my washing machine. But they requested I send the remaining product back for testing. Probably because it's defective. They stated they wanted to test it but not help with rwplacing my ruined washing machine.Business Response

Nehemiah Manufacturing has had extensive interactive with the consumer in regards to the Tide Washing Machine Cleaner. This includes reviewing detailed images and discussing the situation in detail. Based on the photos provided and description of the product usage and washing machine cleaner performance, our technical team has confirmed that the persistent residue inside of the machine is not the Tide Washing Machine Cleaner. This could be scale from the machine that the washing machine cleaner helped to dissolve or other material.
As part of our commitment to consumer satisfaction, we have refunded the purchase price and have provided a one-time goodwill gesture to help offset any other costs experienced.

There was no residue in the washing machine before using the cleaner. The problem happened immediately after using the cleaner. The washing machine was very expensive. I have a family of 5 and we purchased the oversized ******* washing machine. It is $832.00 at ****s.

So I don't know if the amount will be enough to replace my washing machine. It absolutely did damage my machine.

On 7/11/23 I purchased a 3-pack of Tide to Go Stick at ****** (receipt disclosed), which is advertised as, "Make sure you’re prepared to face unexpected stains with the Tide to go stain pen. Tide to go is an instant stain remover designed to help eliminate some of the toughest fresh food and drinks stains on the spot. Thanks to its powerful cleaning solution, this easy-to-handle stain removing pen gets small stains out of your clothes before they set in. Best of all, Tide to Go travels easily to stop stains on the spot. Powerful solution breaks stains down; microfiber pad lifts and absorbs them. Works well on tomato juice, ketchup, BBQ sauce, grape juice, coffee, wine, tea, chocolate syrup, and more."
In early August, less than one month after purchasing the product I decided to use the stain removal pen on some ketchup I spilled on my t-shirt since I was at a dinner and could not throw the t-shirt in the wash immediately. Instead of removing the stain the pen stained my t-shirt white. I am currently seeking compensation for the tide to go defective product that ruined my ***** ***** ******* **** ****** short sleeve crew that cost $125. We have continued to follow our traditional follow up protocol including: 1) refunding the product purchase price 2) seeking to analyze the product and damaged article of clothing.
To date, ** ****** has been unwilling to provide the damaged article or the product. We will follow up again with him to discuss next steps.

For your reference, reasons for rejection are included below.Nehemiah Manufacturing mentioned I am unwilling to provide the damaged article or the product, however, I have informed them I can send this as long as they provide the shipping label. The company said they believe their product did not cause this stain, but I can assure you I witnessed this with other witnesses and we were all shocked, as I have been a loyal customer who has been using tied pen stain removers for many years. From the photos, it can be shown the white portion of the tide pen stained my T-shirt. I spent $6.60 on a defective Tide to-go product that resulted in damaging a t-shirt with a replacement cost of $143.08 which makes my loss $149.68. I would like to be made whole and that should cover the cost of fixing the damaged item. I do not have a record of lying and if they want to test the defective product out I ask them to please send me 1) a shipping label, 2) cover the replacement cost of the damaged t-shirt, and then I will box the tide pens and the damaged t-shirt. I have attached a copy of the estimates for the replacement costs. I also included a photo of the Tide to go advertisement that shows how there is a white mark when you use their product and included a close-up photo of the white stain their product caused damaging my ***** ***** t-shirt
