I retained Wright Ways services for a renovation on my mother's house in Aug of 2022. I paid a 50% deposit, $5000. After payment his crew cancelled for 3 weeks straight and never started the job at all. After all the delays we agreed to cancelling the job and refunding the deposit. 4 months later the story changed and he needed to keep some of the deposit for "items he purchased" and he would need to calculate how much he could return. Even though none of the supplies were delivered to me. It has now been over a year and not a single penny has been returned of the deposit. Seeing that other complaints site the same issues around stolen deposits and jobs not completed on time it is clearly a pattern. I'd like a refund of my deposit. Every time I speak to Vernon he says he will pay it "next week". Well 55 weeks later still nothing.

Signed a contract for a 3 month renovation, on 7/1/2022. Took a payment of 31,000$ at that time. 3 weeks later came back and claimed he spent all our money on supplies, and needed another payment of 31,000$. We Had the building permit in hand on 8/16/22. Crews finally showed up in December and pour concrete footers. Came back end of January and laid concrete block foundation. Returned again in late march and built block foundation walls correct location, then return late March and installed floor trusses. Returned in early April and partially stubbed in plumbing drain for bathroom. The following week came back and installed the flooring. Beginning of may returned to remove old chimney. Not showed up since. It’s been 11 months since he took this job, only shows up once a month, and don’t show up till noon on those days. Contract had a completion date if November 20th 2022. Company may have 60 hours of work in this project in 11 months. Totally unacceptable and unprofessional from a company with this type of rating. The constant delays has costed us several thousand dollars in storage and fee’s. Maybe it’s time To stop taking new jobs until they finish the old ones.

No ma’am it is not done yet.  They have been working on it Daily for the past Month and a half. The frame is up, doors and windows installed, insulation is in, electric has been run, interior walls are up and install the 2 new bathrooms today.  Should run plumbing this week or next. If everything goes right, and we run into no more issues, should be completed in the next 30 to 45 days. I will keep you updated on there progress.
