Unfortunately I did not have a good experience with Trummel Painting. I hired them to paint the exterior of my 95 year old stucco home. I pointed out a few areas I knew of that needed wood and stucco repair, but made it very clear that any damaged wood or stucco they found along the way, I wanted repaired as well. They did not do that. They did not scrape, caulk, paint under the windowsills, or caulk around the window trim as expected. I had to inspect their work and send daily requests to the project manager on things they missed. On top of that, they left nails in the driveway that I ran over with my car, did not protect the ground around the house that's now white with paint, and damaged my blacktop driveway with the power washer. A lot of the trim paint bubbled. They told me it's because of a chemical used on old trim boards, but oddly enough, the previous trim paint was not bubbled. They fixed some of the bad areas, but not all of it. They left the large paint containers open over the duration of the project, so the remaining paint that they left me isn't in good condition. Overall a pretty poor experience. Jason was responsive, and they did try to address most of the issues, but I would not recommend them.

I recently hired Trummel to paint some interior rooms and to repair and paint the stucco on an exterior gable. The owner was very nice and provided a timely estimate. I was not home while they were working. I was happy with the results. Unfortunately, he has a couple of Daryls working for him. After the interior painting was completed and I paid for the work, I noticed the Daryls had apparently spilled gray paint on my carpeted stairs and did a half- *** job of cleaning it up. At first I thought it was just dirt. I texted the owner who responded in a reasonable period of time and came back with a carpet cleaner, The carpet is about 90% better. Anyone else would not notice it. I am also aware the Daryls spilled paint on the LVT floor at the base of the stairs. I can see paint in the grain texture of the LVT. I didn't mention it bc I didn't want him to attempt to clean it thus ruining the flooring. In addition, I could tell that they used my stainless kitchen sink for something involving paint. I found globs of wet paint in the sink strainer. I have a basement laundry tub which they should have used. I'm also missing a screw driver and the towel from the bathroom next to the the paint spill. They probably used it to clean the spill. It's just a towel but it is part of a matching set. I can't find that towel anywhere. The outside work went much better. No property or landscape damage. Bottom line, if you hire Trummel you will need to be close by and keep an eye on the guys doing the work.
