    March of 2021 my now wife, our now 3 year old son, and myself purchased a home. November of 2021 I had a new furnace installed through ****** **** ********. The warranty came with my home (a year warranty). They came out and said my furnace needed replaced (was 29 years old).. They go through the process and install it. $400 out of my pocket. Seemed like a great deal! Ended up taking almost a week because “he didn’t want to build duct work onsite”. The guy wanted it ordered. The day before thanksgiving he came and did it himself and I had heat for thanksgiving! Come January of 22’ I spent almost $3,000 on propane to heat the house.. Me never having propane in my home, I figured it was normal. Then same thing happened in 23’. Just burning through propane.
    During that time also I had a carbon monoxide issue and had to evacuate my home. Had the firehouse at my home and everything. I had to fix a bunch of duct. My chimney had this weird smell coming from it also when furnace was on. All to me seemed normal for the circumstances.
    Fast forward to January of 24’ I said enough is enough and this can’t be normal to spend this kind of money on propane. January 4th of 2024 I had my tank filled. Cost $768. 3 weeks later I run completely out.. Was another $925 to fill it. That’s ridiculous. Can barely survive as it is and now struggling to afford to heat my home with my pregnant wife and our 2 children. Both under 3..
    I had a well known and respectable company come out and check out my furnace. And they found MULTIPLE ISSUES.
    My furnace was NEVER converted from natural gas to propane (was these guys’ job to do )… They never converted it. They never tuned it. They never checked or changed anything like they were supposed to. I had to pay a company to fix it all and get the furnace up to code..
    These idiots costed me a bunch of money and health scares in my home. I’m furious and want something good to come out of this bad situation…
